Becoming a “Grandma” myself came unexpected and what I thought was way too soon. Shoot, I was still enjoying the experiences of being a MOM! Oh, heavens – however, what joy my first grandchild brought to my heart (and those that followed) – it exploded with an abundant of emotions; and I soon held a lot more of the above traits than I knew what to do with, especially “yackety!” I couldn’t stop talking about how precious she was – she absolutely melted my heart and I wanted to share her with the world!
THE RIGHT FIT!
I had gone with my daughter to her doctor appointment in viewing of the ultrasound. She was excited (as was to be expected) to find out the gender, as I too, pondered with anticipation. As we watched the screen and for the nurses reactions, time seemed to have slipped from existence. But in hearing her words, “It’s a girl!” we were suddenly brought back to the moment.
Names began in two’s and three’s at a time…I couldn’t stop! Kaylee was set on Cadence from the point she had found out she was pregnant and nothing was going to change her mind...so it seemed. AND then I came out with, how ’bout, “Miley-Jordan” and sure enough, it stuck – it was just the right fit!
Remember what I said in yesterday’s blog about being a MOM times 3
“LOVE IS FOUND IN GREATER NUMBERS!”
This is so very true!!
After the first one was born, there have been 4 more grandchildren, whereas ALL are dear and have a special place in my heart – ALWAYS and FOREVER, my grandbabies you’ll be~
My dearest grandchildren:
Miley-Jordan
Madison
