“Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation.” ~Lois Wyse
Through the years of being grandma I’ve enjoyed the endless hours of just being in the moment…playing games, baking, watching movies, laughing, play days at the park, coloring, craft time, and tons more laughing.
“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.” ~A. A. Milne
This Christmas they will all receive a book I created and self-published this year in hopes to planting a “spiritual” seed that will harvest a life full of joy, peace, and encouragement as they experience all the curves life throws in their direction (the good, bad, and ugly) to help them grow into the mighty warriors I believe they’ll be. I look forward to seeing their reaction to receiving the book – it was of course, because of them that I was moved to creating it. And I didn’t just stop there, there’s more to come!
