“Good relationships don’t just happen. They take time, patience, and two people who truly want to be together.” ~Unknown

My husband and I just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary this past Christmas Eve and we’ve never been so happy and in love!  I truly believe what keeps us going is that we both work hard in our efforts to making it work~

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”  – Maya Angelou

Marriage is like everything else in life, it takes practice, perseverance, and unconditional effort from both individuals~

“Like any good thing in life, you have to invest big time to make a promising relationship work. You will have to let go of your ego and learn when to admit you`re wrong, when to be flexible, and when to stand up for yourself. It may be take a lot of effort to turn things around, but it’s well worth it.”

❤ Be the kind of person you want your partner to be ❤

“People always say that a good relationship is 50- 50. I actually disagree. It’s 100/100.  When each person is bringing themselves to the relationship 100%, and not waiting for the other to make the first step like being the first to apologize, the first to say “I love you”, the first to break the silence… THAT’S what makes a good partnership. Both people bringing their best selves to the table. The new year can be a fantastic time to create this in your marriage. Be the kind of person you want your partner to be. What you put a light on grows. Find ways to bring light to your marriage!”  ~Catherine Demonte
