Got Room for Improvement?

Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.  ~Benjamin Franklin

“Some people simply drift through life.  Their choices, when they can muster the will to choose, tend to follow the course of least resistance.”  ~Life Application Bible

We ALWAYS have room for improvement and the following are some of the BEST:

Being Humble“Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together they are only a breath.”  ~Psalm 62:9

More Reverent – “I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.”  ~Psalm 18:3

“Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.”  ~Henry David Thoreau

More Respectful “Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.”  ~Psalm 31:9

More Trusting “The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”  ~Psalm 27:1

More Loving“I love you, O Lord, my strength.”  ❤  ~Psalm 18:1

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
― William W. Purkey

More Devoted“You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.”  ~Psalm 4:7

“A brave man acknowledges the strength of others.”
― Veronica Roth, Divergent

More Recognition“I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.”  ~ Psalm 9:1

More Faithful“Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”  ~Psalm 23:6

More Obedient“Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart.”  ~Psalm 119:34

Obedience to God’s commands is the true sign of your love for God, and the only way you can know if you are obeying God is by knowing his Word.

2 Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  ~2 Corinthians 10:5

More Repentance – “
For the sake of your name, O Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.”  ~Psalms 25:11

“Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable.”  ~William Pollard
