Blessed with the BEST! #58

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”
Steve Maraboli

I feel extremely fortunate with all that I have and continue to receive.  I accept the good, bad, and ugly – for without it, I wouldn’t be me.  I think about my age, health, and growth and I feel blessed to be where I am.

I became a grandma at 38…and although I felt I was too young to be called a grandma, nothing takes away the old stigma about this title than that of the sound of footsteps running down the hall and the cheerful voice calling out, “Grandma, I’ve missed you so much!” ❤

Or the hug that embraces you and the emotions that instantly take place~

After all, some people don’t get the privilege to be called, “Grandma.”

WHAT AN HONOR IT IS – SO VERY BLESSED WITH THE BEST! ❤

And let’s talk health…

“Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses.
Focus on your character, not your reputation.
Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes.”
Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

The mindset that staying healthy and fit creates less stress and adds years to your life is one that I can adhere to.  I’ve always been an avid fitness guru…either running, free weights, aerobic videos, or on some type of exercise machine, I’ve made it a way of life – a lifestyle that works and continues to benefit my well-being.

My growth has been HUGE in learning how to accept myself presently…it’s taken time, a lot of time.  Without my family and close friends to give me the positive reinforcement that I’m loved unconditionally and accepted, and with my strong foundation in faith…I can’t see myself slowin’ down…it’s only up from here!

❤ BLESSED WITH THE BEST! ❤

“Every year should teach you something valuable; whether you get the lesson is up to you. Every year brings you closer to expressing your whole and healed self.”

 ~Oprah Winfrey
