I began this blog in December of 2017 in hopes to fulfill my quest to providing a special day in response to those I love and find comfort in. My home and family, my job with colleagues and students, and my strength for all the above found in faith and sisterhood are among my life joys. I wanted to build a place where I can come and renew myself as this Broccoli Tree has done for so many of its followers.

My commitment to continue to post and share my thoughts, stories, inspirations, etc., on this blog comes from the idea to journal and reflect my affection and gratitude to those individuals that bring joy and contentment to my life. And when I reach post #1000, I hope that I’ve given others the enthusiasm to begin a project that chronicles a positive outlet in a way that strengthens their relationships in hopes to never risk losing what they love~
